It is the perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing, and observing local wildlife in a protected and sustainable environment. It is one of the most iconic public access points in Bacalar.
Local Tip
"Arrive early! To enjoy the pier's tranquility and take photos without crowds, 9:00 AM is the best time. Don't forget to wear a long-sleeve swim shirt (rash guard), as sunscreen of any kind (even biodegradable) is strictly prohibited to protect the ancient stromatolites."
